Diagnostic Imaging
Diagnostic imaging uses different types of advanced technology, depending upon the exam you need, to create images of the inside of your body. These images help your physician make a diagnosis or rule out problems. Your physician may refer you for one or more diagnostic imaging exams.

Our Staff
The Memorial Health System employs four Radiologists on site at Marietta Memorial Hospital. Each site employs radiology technologists who use the same procedures and protocols across our system. We utilize PACS, a program that enables us to share images with physicians and health systems outside of our community.
Preparing for Your Diagnostic Procedure
Please follow the directions provided to you by your doctor's office or outpatient office scheduling your test. It will be very important for you to follow directions to get the most out of your test. We do recommend wearing comfortable clothing and being prepared to change into a hospital gown if necessary. Please note some tests take a few minutes, but others such as an MRI can take an hour or more.
