When you need prompt minor emergency treatment, your doctor's office is closed or busy, or if you don't have a physician, we are a convenient option.
What To Expect
At Physician’s Care of Marietta, there is always a doctor and medical team ready to care for you and your family. You don’t need an appointment or referral to be seen. When you arrive, you’ll sign in and provide basic information and we’ll ask for your insurance information.
As soon as an examination room is available, you will be called by a nurse who will take your vital signs and a brief medical history. A physician or a physician's assistant will then see you as soon as possible.
We make every attempt to treat patients promptly in the order of their arrival. However there may be some situations where a patient whose injury or illness is deemed more serious and though they arrived after you, may be treated first. We ask for your understanding and patience in these situations. The length of your visit will also be determined based upon your condition. You may need to wait for results from laboratory testing, X-rays or consultations.
When to Visit
We provide treatment for things like the flu, asthma attacks, broken bones, cuts requiring stitches and more. Physician’s Care fills the void between an ER and a doctor's office, with all appropriate medical services provided. It is not meant to replace visits to your primary care physician or necessary trips to the ER. Rather, we are here to complement those options, with fast, expert care for most injuries and illnesses. In fact, we can connect you to a physician referral line if you are seeking a primary care physician.
