Interventional Cardiology
Interventional Cardiology
Marietta Memorial Hospital is seeking an individual for a lead role in developing our interventional program and our participation in C-Port trials.
The right candidate would join an esteemed practice consisting of a highly respected interventional cardiologist and invasive cardiologist. Both of these individuals provide extensive experience and have exceptional reputations for clinical expertise in the region.
The additional physician is needed for interventions, stenting, PTCA cases, diagnostic caths, nuclear, TEE's, and echos.
Financial package includes:

The 3,650 square foot Cardiac Catheterization Lab boasts the industry's most innovative technology and diagnostic equipment. Opportunity to join an established ENT currently practicing in a 5 county service area; The new associate would be expected to perform the full range of Otolaryngology procedures (not limited to but may include adenoidectomy, allergy therapy/treatment, foreign body removal, lesion excision, nasal endoscopies, nasolaryngoscopy, rhinoplasty, septoplasty, tonsillectomy, turbinectomy, tympanoplasty, tympanostomies & tubes).
The practice environment has access to a strong referral base and on-site audiology. The office building is directly adjacent to MMH, providing easy access to outpatient surgery and ancillary services.
Practice would be based solely at Marietta Memorial Hospital, a single 204-bed community hospital. Call is only taken at MMH.
Dermatology
Due to the death of our dermatologist, we are seeking individuals to assume ready-made patient base with a 5 county draw area. Established practice at one site with multi-specialty physician group.
No academic responsiblities.

Hosptialist
Excellent internal medicine focused Hospitalist opportunity for a BC/BE Internist to join a local group providing in-house medical center coverage with full compliment of specialty back up. A very competitive salary, work schedule and benefit package is available to the right candidate. Hospital employed group developed in 2005.

- 17-20 shifts per month
- Affiliation with Med One (Riverside/St. Anne's, Columbus)
- Eleven ICU Beds - It is a combined medical and surgical ICU (open)
- 24 beds Special Care Unit (3 vent rooms)
- Nursing ratios:
4:1 on telemetry unit
2:1 ICU (will go to 1:1 for some conditions)

Community, Facility, & Organization
Marietta Memorial Hospital consists of a 204 bed not-for-profit community hospital; The health system is also comprised of a full service cancer center, rehabilitation center, extended care facility and a retirement community. Marietta Memorial Hospital is a progressive and financially sound hospital committed to state of the art OR's and technology. Our medical staff has 140+ members and encompasses all specialties including neurosurgery, and plastic/reconstructive surgery.
Marietta Memorial Hospital completed a 94,000 square foot, $25 million dollar expansion designed to provide better access to care for patients and families in July 2005. It houses a new 18,000 square foot emergency department that will provide up to 30 treatment rooms, new operating rooms, family-friendly waiting areas and support services.
Other areas of interest include: a new $3.1 million (16,000 square foot) outpatient surgery center consisting of ten private, multi functional rooms with state of the art technology; 700 OB deliveries per year; Laboratory and full service radiology center (including 1.5 Tesla magnet MRI and Spiral CT) located on site;
Community Profile
Marietta is a community of approximately 18,000 people with a service area of 65,000. The nearest metropolitan areas are Columbus and Pittsburgh (within 2 hours). Marietta is directly off I-77 and situated within 45 minutes of I-70.
As the first settlement in the North West Territory (and Ohio!), Marietta brings 4 seasons of festivals and activities to the general population. Located on the Ohio and Muskingum rivers, Marietta is a recreational paradise offering golfing, water skiing, fishing, hunting, and boating for warm weather recreation. Marietta is within driving distance of skiing and snowmobiling in the winter.
