A: Yes, we have physical, occupational and speech therapy.

A: If the family physician has privileges at Marietta Memorial Hospital, then he or she would also have priveleges at Harmar Place.
Q: Is it true that Medicare pays for the first 20 days at 100%?
A: Yes, as long as the patient has had a three-day stay in the hospital within the last 30 days and has a need (physical therapy, occupational therapy, wound care, etc.)
Q: Is Harmar Place certified by Medicare and Medicaid?
A: Yes.
Q: What types of financial programs does Harmar Place accept?
A: We accept Medicare, Medicaid, insurance, hospice and self-pay.
Q: Are all of your rooms semi-private?
A: No, we have private and semi-private rooms.
Q: Does Harmar Place charge for laundry services?
A: No, we only ask that family members mark patients' clothes with a laundry marker.
Q: Will my mother have access to a TV and phone in her room?
A: Yes, all of our rooms have TV and phone hook-up capabilites. Family members must provide the TV for long-term care patients; short-term care rooms have TV's. We will provide a telephone for all rooms.
