Free Mammograms

Marietta Memorial Hospital is currently offering free mammograms that are available through two grants, BEST (American Cancer Society) and Komen (Susan G. Komen for the Cure).

 Grant Period: 9/1/2011 - 8/31/2012 Grant Period: 4/1/2011 - 3/31/2012 
 Neither grant covers breast MRI, biopsy procedures, surgery or treatment.
Pays for one screening mammogram
and/or one diagnostic
mammogram per year.
Pays for one screening mammogram
 and/or one diagnostic
mammogram and/or one 
ultrasound per year. 
 Must be uninsured or underinsured.     Must be uninsured or underinsured. 
 Age 35-39, must have physicians order for
screening mammo due to high risk.
Age 40 or above with no insurance. 
 Age 4- 0 64 can be physician ordered or
self referral for routine screening.
 Must provide a physician record to
receive results.
 Must meet financial guidelines -
250% of poverty level.
 No financial screening or criteria.
 Covers the cost of a mammogram.  Covers the cost of a mammogram.

*Every patient must have a signed order for the mammogram and/or ultrasound. If no signed order is available at the time of the exam, the exam will have to be rescheduled.
