Our Mission
The primary mission of the Memorial Health System Educational Services Department is to promote customer-focused quality and evidence-based delivery of care. Educational Services is dedicated to providing learning opportunities that assist the internal customers of the Memorial Health System in acquiring, maintaining and improving competence and knowledge in the delivery of care to those we serve. This is accomplished by:
1. Orientation
2. Continuing education
3. Inservice and remediation

The goal of the orientation program is to ensure all new employees, volunteers, students and contact staff are integrated into the operations, policies, procedures, processes and practices of the Memorial Health System.

The goal of the continuing education program is to develop the knowledge, skills competency and career growth of the staff to meet and exceed the required level of performance for their job assignment.

The goal of inservice and remediation activities is to ensure the staff develops, maintains and increases competency in their assigned job duties following completion of orientation and throughout their employment within the Memorial Health System.
